In Local mode on the Full edition, capture, transcription and answers run on your PC. CueFlect checks your account when it opens and about once an hour, and a new session starts only while the latest check succeeded within the last 75 minutes, so starting one needs an internet connection. A running session ends once four hours pass without that check.

Your transcripts, answers, prompts, screenshots and session history are stored on your PC, encrypted for your Windows account. Cloud answering sends the question and approved context through the CueFlect gateway to a cloud AI provider. Cloud mode also permits screenshots under the accepted terms. The Full edition includes the local model runtime, for answers on your PC. The smaller Cloud edition leaves that out and answers through the gateway. Both transcribe speech on your PC by default. Compare the editions on the download page and check which modes your plan allows.

CueFlect is built for real-time interview assistance and practice. Check the interviewer's rules before using it, and answer from your own experience. Prevent UI Screen Capture can keep CueFlect out of supported screen-share and recording paths when enabled; it is not a guarantee against every capture method. CueFlect checks that the question, instructions and selected material fit the model's context window. If the required parts cannot fit, it does not send the request and tells you which setting to review. This keeps the instruction against inventing your experience in the request.

No. It warns you about text that looks like names, organisations, email addresses, phone numbers and URLs. Review and edit the material before approving it; approved text is sent as written.

Settings includes deletion controls for diagnostics, sessions, profiles and all local data. Account deletion removes live-store data immediately. Some disclosed records are retained until their individual retention periods expire; the privacy page explains them.
